Working at the intersection of narrative cinema, fashion, and luxury branding, she explores the tension between beauty and volatility, restraint and fracture—creating films that feel cinematic yet editorial, intimate yet mythic.

Rooted in an analog sensibility and timeless composition, Jean’s work privileges atmosphere over exposition and emotion over spectacle. Through bold framing, tactile texture, and meticulous visual precision, she constructs narratives that linger through mood, performance, and subconscious tension rather than linear explanation.

Whether directing original films, fashion campaigns, or commercial work, Jean approaches each project with the same commitment to atmosphere, precision, and emotional tension. Every creative decision is made in service of emotion, using beauty not as decoration, but as a way of revealing what lies beneath it.

Originally from Los Angeles, Jean studied experimental filmmaking at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and lived in France, where she deepened her engagement with photography, sculpture, theatre, and dance. These multidisciplinary influences continue to shape an approach that merges cinematic storytelling with editorial sophistication.

Based in Los Angeles, Jean develops original narrative films alongside select collaborations in fashion, beauty, and luxury.
